Libyan army shots down 5 Turkish drones, targets missile launching sites

Brigadier-General Khaled Al Mahjoub, Director of the Moral Guidance Department of the Libyan National Army, said that the Libyan armed forces managed to shoot down 5 Turkish drones on more than one axis yesterday.

Al-Mahjoub revealed in a special statement to Hawar News Agency that 3 drones were shot down in Al-Washaka axis, one in Al-Wattia, and another in the Bani Walid unit.

The Director of Moral Guidance Department of the Libyan National Army confirmed that the missile launching sites at civilians were targeted in the areas of Maitika and Ain Zara by artillery.

The Libyan National Army, led by Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar in Al-Qasim, is fighting a fierce war against Accord Government groups that Turkey supports with Syrian mercenaries and weapons.
