Libya... Army announces destroying sites equipped with Turkish drones

The spokesman of the General Command of the Libyan Armed Forces said that his forces destroyed sites at Mitiga and Misrata airports that were used to equip Turkish drones.

The Spokesman of the General Command of the Libyan Armed Forces, Major General Ahmed Al-Mesmari said that the army's intelligence services spotted various places in Mitiga and Misrata airports used in the processing and storage of Turkish drones.

He continued in an official statement: "Our intelligence sources identified these places... It is a hangar used to equip drones and store missiles at Mitiga airport."

Al-Mesmari said that military intelligence also identified two weapons stores as well as technical devices for drones at Misrata airport.

Al-Mesmari noted that the air campaign had met its objectives precisely, destroyed the facilities used to store and equip the drones by 100%, and that the planes had returned to their bases safely after successfully doing their duties.
