Leyla Guven, her comrades' resistance is symbol of oppressed peoples' resistance

A number of Dêrik people said that the silence of the international community regarding the conditions of hunger strikers was an extension of the international conspiracy against the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan, stressing that the resistance of hunger strikers had become a symbol of resistance to the oppressed peoples in the twenty-first century.

The resistance of the parliamentarian Leyla Guven and her comrades continue to protest against the isolation imposed on the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan, amid international silence, which aroused resentment of the popular and social circles in the cities and regions of northern Syria.

A number of Dêrik people expressed their resentment at the international attitudes and the silence of Human Rights Organizations, and confirmed their stand and support for the hunger strikers until achieving their goals.

Rowshen Abdullah considered the isolation imposed on Ocalan as an extension of the international conspiracy against the Kurdish people and their leader. She added, "The conspiring states that participated in the plot against the leader have a hand in the isolation and the occupation of Afrin as well, and their silence is the best proof."

She also added that "after the victories achieved by the Kurdish people and the peoples of the region, the Turkish occupation imposed isolation on the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan. Of lead time, the Kurdish woman was represented in the person of the activist Leyla Guven. The Kurdish people announced solidarity with Leyla Guven to end the isolation." Rowshen has pledged Abdullah to continue the struggle and resistance and to support hunger strikers to achieve their goals.

For his part, the citizen Ali Oriyan explained that the practices of the Turkish occupation and the occupying countries against the Kurdish people continue throughout history, and that these practices were embodied in the isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan and his arrest by the conspiratorial countries in order to eliminate the idea and philosophy that united the peoples.

Rowshen Abdullah and Ali Oriyan also condemned the silence of the international community and called on human rights and humanitarian organizations to listen to the demands of hunger strikers, especially as the conditions of hunger strikers reached critical stages. They appealed, "We appeal to all oppressed and peace-loving peoples to step up the struggle against the Turkish fascism in the face of hunger strikes, prisoners and opinion detainees in the prisons of the Turkish fascism."
