Kurdish Red Crescent takes several measures to avoid WashoKani camp from Cov

The Kurdish Red Crescent in WashoKani camp has taken a number of precautionary measures to prevent the Corona virus, and appealed to humanitarian and international organizations in cooperation with the Health Body and the Kurdish Red Crescent to secure equipment and medicines.

Within the framework of the precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the Corona virus in the regions of northern and eastern Syria, the Autonomous Administration has taken a number of decisions, such as closing schools and official departments, and imposing curfews in all regions.

In WashoKani camp in al-Hasakah canton, the Kurdish Red Crescent has taken a number of precautionary precautions in cooperation and coordination with the camp administration and the Health Body, and the procedures included, according to Jihan Amer, the administrator in the Kurdish Red Crescent in WashoKani camp, the sterilization of all camp facilities, in addition to the sterilization of the main streets.

"There is a mobile room in front of the main entrance to the camp, and when anyone enters its temperature, it is checked by professionals, in addition to canceling visits to and from the camp, while education groups continue to work within the camp to educate families about the dangers of the virus and ways to prevent," Jihan added.

The temperature of any person entering the camp clinic is examined, taking into account the leaving of a distance between the auditor's seating for the dispensary, and ten tents have been allocated as quarantine centers outside the camp.

Jihan Amer called on humanitarian and international organizations, in cooperation with the Kurdish Health and Red Crescent Authority, to secure equipment and medicines, and called on camp residents to adhere to the home quarantine in order to protect themselves from the virus.
