KNK-Rojava demands international community to act, ensure leader’s health, disclose fire circumstances

The Administrative Committee of the Kurdistan National Congress (KNK-Rojava) called on the international community and international organizations to act, uncover the circumstances of the fire, and verify the leader's health, while confirming that KNK holds the Turkish regime responsible for everything that happened and happens in Imrali.

Turkish media had reported on a fire on the island of Imrali, where leader Abdullah Ocalan was arrested after the conspiracy against him in 1999.

The Administrative Committee of the Kurdistan National Congress in Rojava KNK issued a statement of public opinion calling on the international community and international organizations, to move quickly to uncover the circumstances of this fire, and to ensure the health and safety of leader Ocalan, and given the opportunity for his lawyer to meet him and check on his situation.

The Administrative Committee, during its statement, affirmed that it holds the Turkish regime responsible for everything that happened and is happening in Imrali
