Kalo: Democratic nation's ideology eliminates hostility between all components and recognizes all nationalities

The member of the General Council of the Autonomous Administration in North and East of Syria, Jumah Kalo said " the Democratic nation's philosophy it was not just a coincidence or the result of the crisis that Syria is going through, but rather an in-depth study of the history and civilizations of the peoples of the region by leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Jumah Kalo explained in an interview with "Hawar", that the democratic nation's philosophy was based on combating authoritarian nationalist thought that seeks to control the capabilities of the rest of the people.

In his statement on the project of the democratic nation that leader Abdullah Ocalan called for, Kalo said: "Since the beginning of the twentieth century, the Middle East has gone through great crises, and the nation-state at the time was the solution that has been paid for by the peoples who live on its land throughout history in the Middle East."

"The price has evolved with the suppression of the repressive thought of the nation-state and the chauvinistic approach that relies on one ideology, one thought, one language and one color for society," Kalo added.

And Kalo continued: "The concept of the nation-state led to the collapse of society in general, and the extermination of many cultures that lived on this land over thousands of years. The wars, destruction, displacement, and killing of people in Syria today are a product of the nation-state."

And Kalo noted: "The policy pursued in the Middle East was not merely a phase or transition from one state to another, but rather was the result of a policy that was strictly followed, and people supervised its implementation." Sensitivities, and the spread of sectarian, sectarian and ethnic nationalism. "

Kalo pointed out that what is taking place on the Syrian soil is a proxy war, in which the countries that intervened in the crisis relied on the sectarianism that has emerged since the beginning of the crisis. He added that these countries not only fought ideology, but also fought history, by destroying archeological sites, including what happened in Afrin, Tal Halaf, Palmyra, and al-Hosn Castle.

And Kalo pointed to the position of the Syrian regime despite the long years of war, and said: "The ideology of nationalist thought to this day, refrains from change, and tries to return Syria to before the year 2011, while religious thought, which is managed by the Turkish state headed by Erdogan, tries to restore the ambitions of its Ottoman ancestors, religion is used to implement these agendas. "

Kalo touched upon the truth of the concept of the democratic nation: "With the advent of the ideology of the democratic nation and the project of brotherhood of the peoples, development took place in the region," noting that it is not merely a coincidence or a result of the crisis, but rather was the result of an in-depth historical study by leader Abdullah Ocalan in the history of the region and its peoples. And civilizations that were established in the region.

He continued: "leader Ocalan issued a series of books, which we can call 'Leader Abdullah Ocalan thought of contemporary history' with the aim of finding radical solutions to all problems in the Middle East, especially Syria, and the world can take advantage of this thought to get rid of conflicts, fighting and more It is one of the disasters that can afflict the whole world, because it is based on the idea of coexistence between all components, not to exploit one another to achieve its interests.

Kalo pointed out that the decisions issued by the owners of nationalist and strict religious thought aim at eliminating the philosophy of the democratic nation, because it considers it a threat to its thrones, and threatens the existence of strict national and religious thought. He said: “Nationalist thought is based on self-love, and this led to marginalize the rest of the people in Syria, and not to recognize the peoples that inhabited the region over thousands of years. He relied on the marginalization of the rest of the components and languages, as he adopted methods of creating hatred and contradictions between the spectrums of society; to control it and support one party at another expense, adding that this is what happened in Qamishlo city uprising If in 2004 it was strongly suppressed.

He said: "The Autonomous Administration has proven the correctness of its position in managing the Syrian crisis, and that it is the ideal project for a future Syria, but this is not in line with the ideas of those who adopt the national and religious approach, and therefore they are fighting the self-administration project, and they agreed among themselves to occupy Afrin and the rest of the areas in NE, Syria.

He added: "The barbaric Turkish invasion of Afrin was accepted by the announcement of the general alienation by the Arab, Assyrian, Armenian, and Turkmen clans as well, and the joining of thousands of their sons, to defend the land, their gains, the fraternity of the peoples, and co-existence."

Regarding leader Ocalan's last message, he said: "The message sent by leader Abdullah Ocalan with his brother, called for the unity of the peoples of the region with all its components to protect the Syrian unity," warning that abandoning this approach would lead to the division of Syria and heading towards an unknown future.
