Joint patrol runs on Syrian-Turkish border west Kobani

The Russian military police started a joint patrol with forces from the Turkish occupation on the Syrian-Turkish border, west of the city of Kobani, in northern Syria.

The patrol launched from the border village of Asham, with the participation of 4 armored vehicles from each side, in addition to the participation of two Russian helicopters.

The patrol is scheduled to roam the villages of "Ashma, Gargali, Janah, al-Bayadeya, Zormgar, Mashko, Binder, Qara Qawi, Qula, Sosan, Boban, Khourkhori, Dekdamsh, Qiran", and then end in Ashma village from where to start.

Residents of some villages from which the patrol passed through the Turkish armor faced stones with a refusal to enter it into the Syrian lands, as residents of northern and eastern Syria see Turkey as an occupying power in Syria.

The patrols between the Russian and Turkish sides on the Syrian-Turkish borders in the north and east of Syria are implemented in implementation of the decisions of the Sochi meeting, which brought together Erdogan and Putin on October 22 last year.
