Jeffrey: Turkish attack led to the escape of 100 ISIS

James Jeffrey, the US Special Envoy to Syria and Special Envoy of the International Coalition to Combat ISIS said the chaos that followed the Turkish attack on north and east Syria led to the escape of 100 ISIS mercenaries from SDF prisons.

About 100 ISIS mercenaries managed to escape from jails controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) as a result of the chaos that followed the Turkish attack on northern and eastern Syria, the US envoy to Syria James Jeffery said.

The agency pointed out that the US envoy in Syria and the International Coalition against ISIS James Jeffrey told the Committee of Foreign Relations in the House of Representatives when asked about the detainees of ISIS, "So far, 100 ISIS mercenaries have managed to escape from Syrian prisons, and do not know where they are now."
