Israeli Defense Minister: We will not allow an Iranian presence in Golan

Yesterday, Tuesday midnight, Israel launched a missile attack on sites in the Quneitra countryside in southern Syria.

The official SANA agency said, "At midnight, the Israeli enemy launched an attack with a missile against a school in the northern countryside of Quneitra."

In his turn, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said, "A violent explosion erupted in the village of al-Hurriya in the northern countryside of Quneitra Governorate, as a result of the bombing, which is likely to be Israeli, targeting the headquarters of Iranian militias in the area, without information about casualties until the moment."

Commenting on this, Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz said, "We will not allow Iran's positioning in the Golan."
