Israeli bombardment on T4 military airport

The Syrian regime announced on Monday that its air defenses had responded to an Israeli attack on the central airport of T4, killing one soldier and injuring two others for the second time in 24 hours.

The Syrian news agency SANA quoted a military source as saying that "our air defenses are responding to an Israeli aggression and destroying two missiles that targeted the airport. The arrival of other rockets has resulted in the martyrdom and wounding of two other soldiers, the damage to an ammunition depot, buildings and gear ".

In turn, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that "violent explosions shook the middle of Sunday night - Monday eastern Homs countryside, it turned out that it was caused by the targeting of Israeli aircraft to the military airport in the east of Homs, which has warehouses and military bases belonging to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, which caused casualties, at least five of them, including a member of the regime forces, and others were wounded, and the number of those killed was expected to rise because of some of the wounded in serious cases, in addition to information on the deaths of others, and the targeting resulted in the destruction of a rocket depot and a vehicle.

Israel launched Sunday air strikes on sites in southern Syria, killing 10 people, three Syrian soldiers and seven fighters loyal to the regime forces of non-Syrian nationalities, in the second bombing of this kind in a week, according to the Syrian Observatory.

The Israeli army announced that the shelling on Sunday came in response to the launching of two rockets from Syrian territory in the direction of Mount Hermon in the Golan Heights. The regime confirmed the death of three soldiers of his forces, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported ten dead, three Syrian soldiers and seven fighters loyal to the Syrian regime of non-Syrian nationalities.
