Israeli army expands fishing in Gaza Sea.. Are there new understandings?

On Tuesday morning, the Israeli army has announced that it would expand its fishing area in Gaza Sea from 12 miles to a maximum of 15 nautical miles.

"On Tuesday morning, the area of fishing in the Gaza Strip was expanded to a maximum of 15 nautical miles," the Israeli army said in a statement considered by Hawar news agency.

This came at a time when the media reported information on reaching understandings between Gaza and Israel mediated by Egypt, which provided for a six-month ceasefire.

Israel's Channel 12 referred to reaching understandings between Gaza and Israel mediated by Egypt, which provided for a cease-fire for 6 months, which was denied by Hamas and the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who said, "There are no new understandings."
