ISIS mercenaries target regime forces from Turkish checkpoints

Ansar al-Tawhid mercenaries who loyalist of ISIS from Sahal al-Gab, where Turkish observation points are existed, targeted al-Rassef town in the northwestern countryside of Hama late on Sunday with several rocket – propelled grenades.

Ansar al-Tawhid mercenaries fired rocket-propelled grenades from their control areas in Sahal Ghab, where there are observation points of the Turkish occupation army, such as Sher Maghar.

The news agency "Sputnik" Russian correspondent in Hama: "The damage was caused to civilians' properties as a result of land of several rocket-propelled grenades on the neighborhoods of the town of al-Rassef in Sahal al-Ghab northwest of Hama."

According to the agency, the mercenaries "targeted the town of al-Rassef from areas of control over the axis of the town of Hawash - Shahranaz northwest of Hama with a number of rocket-propelled grenades."

Regime forces responded to the shelling with artillery and rocket launchers, targeting mercenary positions and movements in the area.

Mercenary groups are deployed in Sahal al-Ghab in the northwestern countryside of Hama, taking advantage of the ceasefire that declared by Russian side on August 31 to organize its ranks and fortify its positions and to strengthen its defenses with weapons, ammunition and mercenaries, as confirmed by the Syrian regime.

Ansar al-Tawhid mercenaries are a faction formed from the remnants of the Jund al-Aqsa mercenaries most of his commanders come from the city of Sarmin in Idlib countryside and they themselves are Jund al-Aqsa mercenaries.
