​​​​​​​Iraq: Major operations in coming days

The leader of the Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Agency Abdel Wahab Al-Saaedi has revealed the arrest of some ISIS gang cells during the past two days, while he pointed to major operations in the coming days.

Al-Saaedi told the Iraqi news agency that "the Counter-Terrorism Agency's work is intelligence in all cases that requires combating terrorism in this country," noting that "the agency continues its operations against the remnants of ISIS gangs."

He added that "the Counter-Terrorism Agency diagnosed the new method used by ISIS gangs," noting that "the coming days will witness major operations to pursue the remains of ISIS gangs."

Al-Saaedi pointed out that "there is coordination with the intelligence services, the Ministry of Defense and the Federal Police regarding operations to pursue ISIS remnants."
