Iran implements death sentence against Kurdish politicians

The Kurdistan Human Rights Report stated that the Iranian regime carried out the death sentence against political prisoners in Urmia prison this morning.

Yesterday, the two Kurdish political prisoners (Saber Sheikh Abdullah and Diakou Rasoulzada) were transferred yesterday to solitary confinement in Urmia, while they transferred them in the middle of the night to the death hall.

Yesterday, Amnesty International issued a statement urging the Iranian authorities to stop executing the detainees.

While the Iranian human rights organization said that before the detainees were executed, they were not allowed to see their families.

The organization also reported that the Iranian authorities have not yet delivered the bodies of the two prisoners to their families.

Saber Sheikh Abdullah and Diakouzadeh were arrested in March 2014 by the security forces in Mahabad, on the pretext that they had carried out the bombing in a ceremony held on September 9, 2010.

On September 22, 2010, the commander of the Iranian Pasdaran Army, Muhammad Pakpor, announced in a statement that the bomber had been killed.
