Intensive Russian, regime's shelling to make progression in Hama countryside

Regime and Russian aircraft launched raids and intensive shelling on the Idlib and Hama countryside, in preparation for the regime's advance in the eastern countryside of Hama.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that this morning, Syrian regime's warplanes launched air strikes on places in the city of Saraqib, east of Idlib.

While Russian aircraft continued their air strikes on Idlib Governorate after midnight Friday - Saturday and early morning, as they launched several raids on areas in Saraqib and Sarmin in the eastern countryside of Idlib.

Simultaneously, the regime forces carried out a missile attack on places in Saraqib, Sarmin, the surrounding of Bennish, al-Mastomah, Qumainas, Dadekh, Zakar, and Marat Aliya, Kafar Batikh and Maarat al-Na`san in the Idlib countryside, amid continuous clashes in axes in Sahal al-Gab in the northwestern countryside of Hama, between mercenaries on the one side, and the regime forces on the other hand, in the context of the continuous attack from the latter in order to achieve new progress and control over the entire province of Hama.

In another context, the Syrian Observatory reported the killing of four officers in the Syrian regime and two leaders of the Lebanese Hezbollah in the outskirt of the town of "al-Zurba" in the southern countryside of Aleppo, after Turkish forces targeted the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them in rural Aleppo and Idlib.

The vast majority of the members of the Security Council called during an emergency session yesterday for an urgent ceasefire, and the European members said that "the military escalation in Idlib must stop now."

On Thursday, an air strike attributed to the regime killed at least 33 Turkish soldiers in Idlib, northwestern Syria.
