Intellectuals: National unity is the only solution to face danger

Intellectuals called on the Kurdish parties to unite their ranks and confront the dangers that existed together, and stressed that the attacks target the existence of the Kurdish people.

The unity of the Kurdish rank is the basic demand of the Kurdish people, who see that unity is the only solution to their salvation from the occupation, the attacks of the enemies and the preservation of their existence.

The poet and member of the Union of Intellectuals in Al-Jazeera region, Anahita Sino, believes that the occupied countries change the demography of the region "and this was caused by the failure to unite the parties, sit at the same table, and demand the rights of the Kurdish people."

ꞌ There is no convincing reason for not having Kurdish unity

Anahita adds, "There is no convincing reason for the political parties not to unify the Kurdish ranks, especially in this sensitive and crucial stage that the region is going through, unless these parties pursue their interests."

For her part, the administrator of the Union of Intellectuals in Al-Jazeera region, Layla Ibrahim, pointed out that the occupied forces always aim, throughout history, to liquidate the occupied people and change their identity and demography in its four parts.

ꞌ National unity is a necessity to thwart the projects of the occupiers

Leyla stressed the need to hold the Kurdistan National Conference, and the unity of the Kurdish rank in this sensitive phase the region is going through "in order to thwart all the projects of the occupiers."

While a member of the Union of Intellectuals in Al-Jazeera region, Kardiyar Darei, said, "The attack by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries from Jabhat al-Nusra and ISIS on the areas of north and east Syria, was aimed at exterminating the peoples of the region that live together."

Darei added: "In light of all these attacks, the Kurdish ranks must be united, because it is the only solution in order to stop the attacks targeting our regions, and massacres are committed against the Kurdish people and erase their identity and culture."
