The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries of Daesh and Jabhat al-Nusra under the name of the Syrian National Army, since the 9th of last October have launched attacks on NE, Syria, and committed several massacres against the people of the region, and threatened the security and stability of thousands of civilians.

'Turkish occupation army and mercenaries committed crimes against humanity'

After the attacks on NE, Syria, the Turkish army committed crimes against humanity and war crimes by directly targeting unarmed civilians and using all heavy and internationally prohibited weapons (such as white phosphorus) hundreds of civilians lost their lives following the Turkish aggression.

According to statistics from the Office of Organizations Affairs in NE, Syria, 478 civilians have lost their lives in the Turkish attack, in addition to the injury of 1,070 others since the beginning of the attack.

'Turkish occupation almost destroyed some villages'

Avin Jumah has explained that the attacks of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries have destroyed hundreds of residential buildings in the area, and some villages were almost completely destroyed, such as the village of Mishravah belonging to the city of Serêkaniyê, as a result of Turkish air raids on the village.

She pointed out that the practices of the occupation and its mercenaries did not stop here, but medical staff were targeted, she said: "During the medical teams trying to enter the village of Mishravah to exhume the bodies from the rubble were targeted, not only did their practice stand here, but a medical staff consisting of two nurses and a driver were kidnapped. They were executed on the ground, and this is a war crime. "

Avin Jumah revealed that they have many documents proving war crimes committed by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries against civilians.

During the ongoing Turkish offensive, the Turkish occupation mercenaries, who are remnants of ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra, posted dozens of videos on social media sites documenting the killing and assassination of the wounded, as well as other crimes such as field executions and the killing of the Secretary General of the Future Syria Party, Hevrin Khalaf, as well as to mutilate martyrs' bodies as the martyr Amara Rinas west of Koabni.

And added according to the four Geneva Conventions and their Protocols, civilians may not be targeted or treated inhumanely, but the Turkish occupation has not complied with those treaties.

"We are reaching out to several human rights organizations, human rights defenders, legal studies centers and the UN fact-finding committee, and reports on violations by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries against the people of the region," said Avin Jumah. Although some bodies had responded, they had not taken practical steps to reduce crimes against civilians.

The co-chair of the Human Rights Organization in Al-Jazeera region, Avin Jumah, called for a neutral international force and a Security Council resolution so that civilians can return to their homes. "Because Turkey cannot be trusted, Afrin was a good example. After the occupation and during the return of some people were subjected to serious violations, the latest of which happened to young Arras, who lost his mind and was brutally tortured by the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation.
