Government forces launch violent attack on “De-escalation”

The government forces launched a violent attack at dawn today on the southern countryside of Idlib, while bombed with rockets several areas south of Idlib and Hama countryside.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that the government forces launched an attack on the Fuleifel and al-Salihiyya axes in the southern sector of Idlib countryside.

The Observatory added: “Violent clashes erupted between the government forces and Turkey's mercenaries that lasted until dawn, accompanied by intense and reciprocal shelling and targeting.”

The Syrian Observatory indicated that there were deaths and injuries among the two sides as a result of the clashes.

In a related context, the government forces renewed its missile shelling on several areas in Jabal al-Zawiyah, south of Idlib, and Sahl al-Ghab in the northwestern countryside of Hama.

Yesterday, the Syrian Observatory monitored Turkish helicopters’ hovering at the Syrian border with the Iskenderun, coinciding with the transfer of the two Turkish soldiers to the Turkish hospitals from Bab al-Hawa border crossing after killing one of them and wounding the other.
