Questions have recently increased in Kurdish circles after the Kurdish National Council visited Turkey as the Kurdish people are looking forward and awaiting unity of their ranks to confront their enemies, especially Turkey, which does not hide in any way its hostility towards the Kurds, and rejects and fights any Kurdish national project in Kurdistan.
Members of the Kurdish National Council visited Turkey as part of a delegation called the "Freedom and Peace Front" and met in the capital, Ankara, representatives of the Turkish Foreign Ministry several days ago.
“Turkey is occupant power, does not recognize any Kurdish entity in the region”
Commenting on this visit, Gilo Issa, a member of the Central Committee of the Syrian Kurdish Democratic Party, says, "The visit of the Kurdish National Council to Turkey is a big mistake and a problem for our people, the Kurdish people are looking forward to unity; some Kurdish parties are still making mistakes and we must know. What are the broad strings that stand in the way of Kurdish unity and work according to what serves the interests of the Kurdish people at this sensitive stage?
Issa points out that "the Turkish state is an occupying state, and it does not recognize any Kurdish entity in the region, and with such a move it wants to break the will of the Autonomous Administration and the democratic nation project."
Issa stressed that the Kurdish National Council must work to unify the Kurdish ranks and protect the gains of the revolution instead of heading to Turkey and standing against its people with the enemy, adding, "The Kurdish National Council must recognize its enemy and its friend and resist the enemies instead of supporting them."
The Kurdish politician explains that the Turkish state, through such a visit, wants to prove to the world that the Syrians and the Kurds through the "Syrian opposition" and the Kurdish National Council are on its side "as it needs a tool to achieve its goals in the region by taking powers to occupy more Syrian lands with these allegations, so Turkey uses the Syrian opposition and the Kurdish National Council as a tool for fulfilling its occupation projects, not only in Syria, but in the entire Middle East. "
Many questions about the significance of the visit!
Gilo Issa wondered what lies behind the Kurdish National Council’s visit to Turkey at this time! He noted, “In light of the continuing and increasing attacks of Turkey on the Kurdish regions in the four parts of Kurdistan and its hostility to the Kurdish people, what does the visit of the Kurdish National Council to Turkey suggest at this time?"
At the end of his speech, he concluded with, “the Kurdish political parties need to return to the right path and work to protect the future of the Kurdish people in order to ensure their rights in future Syria, by uniting the Kurdish ranks, and to be a party in resolving the Syrian crisis."
