Gathering of Professionals calls on protesters to adhere to their demands

A group of Sudanese professionals, leading the protests in the country, called for organizing marches to support the sit-in, and stressed their adherence to their demands, and the Transitional Military Council warned of the danger of forming a civilian government at the moment.

On Sunday, the gathering of professionals called on protesters in a statement to stick to their demands, and said, "Our revolution is going through a critical phase, and the continuation of our cohesion, unity and concentration in the fields of sit-in is the strongest guarantor to achieve the aims of our revolution."

The rally called for all revolutionaries "to march and support the protesters in the leadership in order to confirm our commitment to our revolution and its peace."

The security situation in the capital Khartoum has been confused, as one person was killed and 10 others were wounded as a result of shooting fire by the security forces on Nile Street in Khartoum.
