Former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak passed away

The Former Egyptian President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak has died today, at the age of 91, after a struggle with illness.

The Egyptian media reported that former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has died.

Mubarak assumed the presidency of Egypt for nearly thirty years, following the assassination of former President Anwar Sadat, but the massive popular protests that started in the twenty-fifth of January, which lasted for 18 days, forced him to step down, in February 11, 2011, after which he was imprisoned.
