First village Ocalan stayed in, celebrated his birthday

A number of Kobane residents who were associated with the approach of the leader celebrated Abdullah Ocalan's birthday, during a symbolic event on his birthday in the first village where Ocalan stayed in while in Rojava.

The commemoration of Abdullah Ocalan's birthday was limited to some small gatherings, following the announcement of a curfew on March 23, in line with the measures of preventing the coronavirus outbreak.

On Saturday evening, a number of residents gathered in kobane in the village of Alblour, where the leader Abdullah Ocalan stayed in when he first entered Rojava on July 2, 1979.

Residents set fire near Ocalan's photos, chanting slogans calling for his freedom.
