Explosion in Damascus: 6 citizens killed, injured

An explosion occurred in Aisha River area in the capital Damascus, which resulted in killing and wounding 6 people.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said an explosion rocked the capital Damascus on Wednesday morning, caused by a car explosion in the area of Aisha River, which caused casualties, where one person was killed and at least five people were injured.

According to the observatory, "It has not been known until the moment whether the explosion caused by the fuel inside the car or something else."

The last explosion in the capital Damascus was on January 20 this year, caused by an explosion hit the southern district, near a branch of security of the military intelligence there, accompanied by heavy gunfire in the region.
