Explosion in Benghazi, Libya leaves mortalities, casualties

A car bomb exploded during the funeral of Major General Khalifa Al-Massmari at Al-Hawari cemetery in the eastern city of Benghazi, killing four people and wounding several others.

Libyan sources said that the bombing targeted the leaders of the Libyan special forces in the city of Benghazi, pointing to the survival of leaders in the special forces of the suicide bombing.

The explosion coincided with the funeral of Major General of the Libyan Army, Khalifa Al-Massmari, a former commander of the Special Forces, who died two days ago due to chronic illness.
