Erdogan acknowledges Turkish forces' leadership for Accord in controlling Tarhuna

The Turkish president acknowledged that Turkish forces had led Syrian brigades and mercenaries to take control of Tarhuna.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Friday thanked the Turkish soldiers for taking control of the Libyan city of Tarhuna.

Earlier, media outlets reported that the Accord's factions, led by a Turkish woman, stormed the city of Tarhuna, southeast of Tripoli.

The Accord factions entered Tarhuna under the cover of Turkish "drones", from 3 axes, using advanced weapons obtained from Turkey.
