Emergency declared in the Palestinian territories; 600 new Corona cases in Israel

The Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas announced that the state of emergency in the Palestinian territories has been extended in the wake of the increase in cases and deaths of the Coronavirus in the West Bank, while Israel recorded over the past 24 hours 600 new cases and deaths of the virus.

The Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas decided to extend again a thirty-day state of emergency, starting on Sunday, to counter the outbreak of the Coronavirus in the West Bank.

Today, the Palestinian Ministry of Health recorded 208 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing the number of cases to 4,458 and 19 deaths.

The Palestinian governorates in the West Bank, in particular the Hebron Governorate, witness a great activity for the Corona virus, and the Ministry of Health warns of the situation out of control after the increase in cases of infection and death of the virus.

In the same context, the Israeli Ministry of Health announced today, Sunday, the registration of one death, and more than 600 new cases of corona, during the past 24 hours.

The Ministry of Health stated that the number of people infected with the virus rose to 29,170 in the country, and deaths to 331.

"Among the infected, 11,004 cases of active condition, of whom 83 patients are in serious condition, and the rest of the cases are in stable condition."
