Egypt announces curfew from 7 pm to 6 am starting tomorrow

The Egyptian Prime Minister, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly announced the ban on the movement of citizens on all public roads from 7 pm to 6 am starting tomorrow, in light of the comprehensive measures that Egypt is taking to confront the Corona virus.

Madbouly said in a press conference today, Tuesday, that the lack of commitment of citizens led to high rates of HIV infection, stressing that there are more severe decisions that will be taken if things deteriorate.

He stressed that the sanctions will be applied in the emergency law to anyone who violates the instructions prohibiting the movement of citizens and closing shops from 5 pm until 6 am with full closure on Friday and Saturday.

He explained that the penalties start from a fine of 4 thousand pounds and reach imprisonment.

The spokesman of the Egyptian Ministry of Health, Dr. Khaled Mujahid, confirmed late yesterday, that 39 new cases have been recorded that have proven positive, laboratory analyzes of the virus, all of whom are Egyptians in contact with positive cases that were discovered and announced in advance, pointing to the death of 5 cases of Including an Indian, and 4 cases of Egyptians, bringing the total number registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus until Monday to 366 cases and 19 deaths.
