Earthquake hits Kermanshah area east of Kurdistan

Today, an earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale hit Kermanshah area in eastern Kurdistan.

Meanwhile, the Wali of Kermanshah area in eastern Kurdistan, Hûşeng Bazvand, issued a statement saying that "the earthquake did not record any casualties," noting that the earthquake and floods in the country caused great damage to the property of citizens.

In 2017, an earthquake measuring 7.3 on the Richter scale killed around 620 people and wounded 12 others.
