Demo in al-Hasakah condemned Turkish attacks on Başûr

The people of Serê Kaniyê of al-Hasakah canton called on the regional countries and the Kurdistan Regional Government in particular to express a clear position on the Turkish aggression and bombardment of the areas of southern Kurdistan.

Under the slogan, "In the Spirit of the Resistance of Şeladizê, we Will Defeat the Occupation and Protect Beradost and Liberate Afrin, "dozens of residents of the area of ​​Serê Kaniyê and Zarkan district of al-Hasaka, and the participation of civil and military institutions in the region in a demonstration condemning attacks by the Turkish occupation army on the areas of Xakurk  and Şeladizê in Başûr Kurdistan.

The demonstrators gathered at the Martyrs' Roundabout, carrying pictures of Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan, pictures of martyrs and flags of Kongra Star and the Movement of Democratic Society, where the demo marched the main street of the city chanting slogans denouncing the attacks of the Turkish occupation on the areas of southern Kurdistan.

After the arrival of the demonstration in front of the center of the district council in the city, the people stopped there, during which Joan Esso delivered a speech on behalf of Administration of the City Council of the city at the beginning commemorated all the martyrs of freedom, pointing out that the attacks of the Turkish occupation army in recent times follow the areas of legitimate defense from all sides, And these attacks come as a result of the insistence of the Kurdish people on the resistance and the creation of democratic projects in the Middle East in general, which draws the Kurdish people from the thought and philosophy of Ocalan. "

In his speech, Esso denounced the Turkish attacks on legitimate defense area and international and regional silence saying "Resistance and struggle continue against all attacks, and we must intensify our efforts and unite our ranks to deter them."

At the end of his speech, he asked the regional countries and the Kurdistan Regional Government in particular to express their clear positions on the attacks launched by the Turkish state, stressing that "silence is evidence of complicity and support for the attacks."

The demonstration ended with slogans saluting the resistance of strugglers in the areas of southern Kurdistan.
