Deir-ez-Zor women: We to escalate Struggle to deter occupation

Deir-ez-Zor countryside 's women have pointed out that they would not accept the another Ottoman occupation in north and east of Syria, and that they had chosen the path of resistance and would continue to do so.

On Monday evening, Dozens of Deir-ez-Zor countryside's women had launched demonstration that organized by Women's Department in Deir-ez-Zor, as part of a campaign launched by the Women's Council in north and east Syria against the Turkish threats under the slogan" having United us, we Won, we Will Struggle, to Protect."

Our agency, Hawar news agncy (ANHA) reporter met with some of the women participating in the demonstration and questioned their views on the Turkish threats to the north and east of Syria.

The Administrator in Women's Council in al-Jazrat area, Zahra al-Tayah said that: "We, as women, will face any violation or aggression on our land, and in our unity and solidarity we will not allow another Turkish occupation of our areas. We will step up our struggle to liberate Afrin from the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries."

The Administrator in Women's Council in Soar town, Muradi Ahmed has pointed out the women in north and east of Syria have contributed to escalate the spirit of revolution and achieved great achievements with their free resistance and still continues to struggle to establish a democratic society.

For her part, said member of the Council of Women in the city of al-Basera, Maryam al-Akla said that "Turkey began more than a year ago to attack Syrian territory, committing the most heinous criminal acts and violating all civil and social rights. We chose the path of resistance and we will continue to resist. We demand the world to stand alongside of the Syrian people.
