Residents of the town of Hajin and its villages denounced the repeated Turkish threats to the lands of northern and eastern Syria during a demonstration organized by Hajin Town Council.
Hundreds of residents took part in the demonstration, as well as members of local councils, members of the Women's House and members of the People's Assembly in the town of Hajin.
The demonstration began with holding minute of silence, followed by a speech by the co-chair of the People's Assembly in the town of Hajin Ismail al-Salman, who denounced the Turkish threats to northern and eastern Syria. and added "The ambitions of the Turkish occupation state are clear in Syria. They occupied Afrin and today they want to expand their areas of control in Syria."
Ismail al-Salman condemned the international silence over what is being plotted against of northern and eastern Syria.
Al-Salman stressed the self-reliance of the people of northern and eastern Syria " We are not counting on any force to protect our areas. We fought ISIS on behalf of the whole world and defeated them. We will continue to sacrifice and offer the martyr after the martyr till achieving the victory, and we pledge of every drop of blood which watered the lands of our areas we remain faith full to their way that we promised to our martyrs whatever cost."
The demonstration ended with chanting slogans denouncing Turkish threats and others commending the resistance and steadfastness of the people of northern and eastern Syria.
