Deir-ez-Zor ... Equipment for quarantine centers in anticipation of Corona

The Health Committee and the Crisis Cell in Deir ez-Zor countryside have equipped several quarantine centers as a precautionary measure to prevent corona virus, while one of the region's doctors has confirmed that no infection has been recorded so far.

Yesterday, the Autonomous Administration of North and East of Syria extended the curfew period by another 15 days.

As part of precautionary measures to avoid the arrival of the Coronavirus, the Health Committee of the Deir-ez-Zor Civil Council and the Crisis Cell in Deir –ez-Zor equipped the quarantine centers.

Two health centers were equipped in the eastern countryside, a center within the updated al-Suwar Hospital, and a center within al-Kassreh Hospital, west of Deir-ez-Zor, and they were provided with the necessary health and medical equipment and supplies.

On these centers and their equipment, Dr. Ahmed al-Omair, Director of al-Kassreh Hospital and a member of the Crisis Cell of our agency, said, "We have taken precautions to prevent corona virus, and examined patients and arrivals to hospitals and health centers."

Dr. Ahmed indicated that they had equipped quarantine centers and provided them with equipment. He pointed out, "The centers will be divided into three sections, for light cases the quarantine will in homes, medium cases at al-Suwar Center and the two eastern country centers, and for difficult cases at al-Kassreh Hospital is equipped with 10 artificial respirators in addition to equipping a station." Generating oxygen, medicines and medical supplies. "

Dr. Ahmed appealed for a commitment to social divergence in the period of curfew and commitment and homes to prevent corona virus. He said that they, as medical personnel and security forces, are on the job in anticipation of any emergency.

Dr. Ahmed al-Omair confirmed at the end of speech that there is no infection with the Corona virus in the region so far.
