Co-chairs of civil councils' elections end in Manbij

Today, Saturday, the civil democratic administration in Manbij and its countryside ended the co-presidents' elections for councils in the region.

The Civil Democratic Administration held in the city of Manbij and its countryside, during the past week, a series of meetings to elect new co-chairs for the councils of the Civil Administration.

The first meetings were held in the southwest of the city and ended in the city in the eastern and western lines.

During the meetings, elections were held by ballot, where the co-chairs of councils were elected, to start performing their duties.

It is noteworthy that the councils were formed after the city of Manbij was liberated from ISIS mercenaries in August 2016.
