Clerics: Turkey, its mercenaries commit massacres in the name of the Islamic religion

Religious scholars condemned the attacks launched by Turkey and its mercenaries on the north and east of Syria, and said they were committing massacres in the name of the Islamic religion, stressing they have no relation with Islam, and called on Muslim scholars to stop bloodshed of the Syrian people.

The reactions which denounce the attacks of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries from Jabhat al-Nusra and ISIS on the north and east of Syria are still ongoing, in this context, members of the Conference of the Islamic Democratic Society in the canton of Afrin condemned the Turkish attacks and stressed that the occupation and its mercenaries are fighting the peoples of northern and eastern Syria in the name of religion and they have no relation with Islam.

Imam Rashad Habash condemned the attacks of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries on the peoples of northern and eastern Syria under the banner of Islam.

He pointed out that Turkey is committing war crimes with its aggression against the Syrian people and densely populated cities, pointing to its use of internationally prohibited weapons, to commit the most heinous violations against civilians, "The mercenaries practice violations and crimes and pronounce the name of God," Habash said.

Habash called on international and human rights organizations to stop the Turkish aggression against the people of northern and eastern Syria to stop the genocide against the peoples of the region.

Sheikh Abdul Khadir Khalil condemned the actions of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries from looting and stealing of civilian property under the name of spoils.

Khalil stressed that the terrorist groups fighting with Turkey are killing people and civilians in the name of Islam....
