Cleaning campaign followed by sterilization in Shaddadi to tackle the Corona virus

The People’s Municipality in Al-Shaddadi district continues to take precautionary measures to prevent the Corona pandemic, as it launched a campaign of public cleaning and street washing in preparation for the start of the sterilization process.

The curfew in the Al-Shaddadi side has entered its third day, amid intense measures by the administration of the district and the municipality of the people, to ensure that the Coruna virus does not appear and spread.

Today, the municipality started washing and cleaning all the streets of the district, to start the next stage, which is sterilizing all the main and subsidiary streets in the district.

A member of People’s Municipality in the district, Ali Al-Khalaf, indicated that this campaign is one of the precautionary measures to confront the spread of the deadly Corona virus, while the district is preparing for a comprehensive sterilization campaign after the clean-up campaign.

Al-Khalaf noted that the municipality in Al-Shaddadi has mobilized all its capabilities to maintain the cleanliness of the district and the safety of the residents.

In the context, the dustman Daham Mattar stressed that they are doing their job to the fullest, to prevent the spread of this pandemic that is now conquering the whole world.

He added, it is their duty to keep the area clean from dirt, which may be the cause of transmission and spread of the pandemic, and to preserve the lives of parents and children who are not aware of the seriousness of the spread of the virus.

In turn, the dustman, Muhammad Al-Faraj, drew attention to the fact that they did their full job, and their willingness to work continuously day and night, in order to avoid a humanitarian catastrophe.

Of note, the Autonomous Administration launched a curfew in all regions of northern and eastern Syria in order to avoid the spread of the virus, and no cases were recorded in it until now.
