Clashes, shelling between Syrian regime, Turkish mercenaries

The axes of southern and eastern Idlib witnessed, at dawn today, clashes and violent shelling between government forces and mercenaries backed by Turkey.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that clashes erupted, at dawn today, between mercenaries backed by Turkey on the one hand, and government forces on the other hand, on al-Fatera axis south of Idlib, which were accompanied by artillery shelling of the regime in the area.

The Saraqib axis in the eastern countryside of Idlib witnessed clashes between the two parties, in an attempt by government forces to advance towards some points occupied by mercenaries, coinciding with heavy artillery shelling by government forces targeting fronts lines in the region.

The Syrian Observatory reported that the government forces captured two Turkish-backed mercenaries on the axes of Idlib countryside.
