Clashes, arrests following sporadic Israeli incursions into West Bank, Jerusalem

This morning, the Israeli army launched a campaign of break-ins in various areas in the West Bank and Jerusalem, during which it arrested a number of Palestinians, and clashes broke out with the army in Nablus, Jenin and Ramallah.

The "Palestinian Prisoners" club stated that the Israeli army had arrested a number of citizens, after storming various areas in the West Bank, under the pretext of participating in popular resistance actions against "settlers and occupation soldiers."

In a statement, the club indicated that "the occupation forces continue their daily raids and arrests of citizens and children, in separate areas in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, during which they raid their homes, destroy their contents and terrorize their residents."

Palestinian reports stated that clashes broke out with the youths and the Israeli army, following the sporadic raids.

The club noted that the Israeli army carried out 280 incursions into various areas in the West Bank and Jerusalem during this September. During these campaigns, 393 Palestinians were arrested and raided 117 houses of citizens, during which "searches and vandalism acts in their contents, and the doors of a number of houses were blown up." According to Palestinian sites.
