Clans' notables: We appeal all Arab clans to confront Turkish attacks

The Arab clans' notables in Afrin region have denounced the attacks of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries on NE, Syria, demanding from the Arab clans to join hands together in confrontation of the Turkish aggression on the Syrian territories.

 Turkey, accompanied by mercenary gangs from the remnants of Jabhet al-Nusra and ISIS, has been launching attacks in NE, Syria since October 9.

In this context, notable of Albukhamis clan sheikh Ali Khamisi said that "We have been displaced from the city of Afrin and the regions of Azaz and al-Bab because of the Turkish attack on our Syrian territories, and the Turkish occupation also changed the demography of the region and the settlement of mercenary families from al-Ghouta and Idlib and their housing in our areas."

Al-Khamisi stressed, "We in turn categorically reject the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries in the regions "The Turkish occupation caused the killing of children and women and the displacement of hundreds of thousands of civilians from their homes, in addition to causing material damage to our property."

For his part, the notable of al-Batush clan Ibrahim al-Ali condemned Turkish occupation's attacks with the participation of mercenaries on NE, Syria.

Al-Ali said "After the success democratic nation's project on the Syrian geographical area liberated from mercenaries such as ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra and the failure of the Ottoman occupation project on Syrian territory, the Turkish occupation tried in various ways to thwart the project of the democratic nation, which included all the components of the region from Afrin to Deirk."

Al-Ali expressed his regret over the Syrians who work with the Turkish occupation, and said in this context "to think back, and remember what the Ottoman occupation did against the people in the past."
