Camps in N,E of Syria are additional burden on AA

The Autonomous Administration suffers from the camps that are spread in north and east of Syria of providing the necessary services for their daily lives and security protection to them, in the light the negligence of humanitarian organization to undertake its duty towards these camps.

Many camps were established in north and east of Syria by Autonomous Administration to accommodate thousands the refuges, who having fled from the fierce battles, as well as to settle Iraqi refugees who fled from their homeland during Daesh domination on their territories.   

The number of displaced persons increased significantly following the liberation operations carried out by the Syrian Democratic Forces SDF against Daesh mercenaries in Deir-ez –Zor, where the number of displaced persons in al-Hol camp, which was allocated to receive more than 72 thousand displaced, including 10,437 foreigners (Daesh mercenaries' families) and 30,789 Syrians and 30,875 refugees Iraqis.

 (AA) works with all its potentials to provide the necessary living materials for those displaced, such as food, drink and health care, in accordance with the possibilities available to them, in addition to security protection and ensuring that their lives are not endangered.

In the north and east of Syria, there are at least 120 organizations are being provided with the necessary facilities for their work. However, AA has indicated earlier that the size of the assistance provided by these organizations to the displaced does not reach the required level and does not exceed 30%

At the end of the month of Ramadan this year, 800 people from the camps (al-Raqqa and al-Tabqa) were evacuated by the end of the holy month of Ramadan. Based on the decisions of the "Clan Forum" held in Ain Issa district on 3 May of this year through tribal guarantees, the administration has shown that it is working to get out more of these camps.

The co-chair of the Committee on Displaced Persons and Refugees, Sheikh Musa Ahmed That they have prepared lists of thousands of displaced people from the regions of Deir-ez-Zor and Manbij in preparation for their return, and explained that several areas in Deir-ez-Zor have become ready to receive the displaced after cleaning and remove remnants of war, indicating that the process of output will take place in the next few days.

It should be noted that the number of displaced persons in the areas of AA according to recent statistics of the Social Affairs and Labor Body of nearly 210 thousand residents in 15 camps distributed in the regions of north and east of Syria.
