'By the Resistance of free women will end the isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan'

The women participating in the Free Women's Convoy explained that they and by the resistance of the free women would end the isolation imposed on the leader Ocalan, during their visit to Amouda district of al-Jazeera Region.


In parallel with the International Women's Day, the convoy of free women visited Amouda district today. The convoy, which included dozens of vehicles decorated with flags of the People's and Women's Protection Units, and pictures of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, was received by hundreds of residents of Amouda and its villages. Members of civil and community institutions and military forces, members of Hori Center for Culture and Art and the Golden Crescent.

When the  convoy arrived at the Women's Free Square in the area, they chanted slogans praising women's struggle and freedom. A ceremony was held during which a number of speeches were delivered.

The speeches, welcomed World Women's Day to all women in the world, women's struggle and resistance, and made it clear that women have become a pioneer in Rojava thanks to the thought and philosophy of the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

The speeches stressed the continuity of resistance and struggle to achieve women's full legitimate rights, and stressed that "resistance of the free women will end the isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan."

It is worth mentioning that the convoy had visited the city of al-Hasaka and al-Darbasiya and is scheduled to visit the city of Qamishlo on Thursday.
