​​​​​​​Berlin conference ends: Libya's problems cannot be solved in a day

 German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, announced the results of  Berlin Summit on Libya in a press conference with UN envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salameh, UN Secretary-General, António Guterres and the  German Foreign Minister, Heiko Maas.

 German Chancellor, Angela Merkel said :"participants in the Berlin Summit on Libya agreed on the need to respect the arms embargo and improve its oversight in the future.

"We can't solve all the problems in Libya in a day, but we can give a boost, there's a binding process that we agreed on."

Merkel said there were a lot of differences between the two sides of the conflict in Libya, and they were not part of the conference, but they were in Berlin to be informed of the talks

The German chancellor announced that the Joint Military Committee on the Truce in Libya would meet next week.

"We have agreed on a comprehensive plan and a more strong arms embargo on Libya," Merkel said.

Leaders and representatives of Russia, the United States, Egypt, France, Britain, China, Germany, Turkey, Italy, the UAE, Algeria and Congo participated in  Berlin meeting, as well as the United Nations, the European Union and the African Union, And the Arab League.
