Arrivals from Damascus to be quarantined

Today, a number of civilians arrived from the Syrian capital Damascus to Qamishlo, airport and were received by emergency teams and tested and taken to quarantine centers to make sure there were not infected with Covid-19.

This evening a passenger plane arrived from the Syrian capital Damascus to  Qamishlo airport with more than 20 passengers on board. They were received by the emergency teams and tested. The co-chair of the health authority confirmed that all arrivals will be guaranteed for 14 days, the incubation period of the virus. If they tested negative, they will let them go.

Manal Mohammed said that in the event of any infection among the arrivals, he will be transferred to the al-Hajar center for the infected.
