Armenia: Azerbaijani forces bomb eastern Karabakh

The Armenian Ministry of Defense confirmed that Azerbaijani forces fired a "Smirtch" missile east of Karabakh, in violation of the third ceasefire agreement.

The ministry said, "The Azerbaijani forces launched an attack on military units in the southeastern side of Karabakh," and confirmed that Azerbaijani forces launched a Smirtch missile at a village in the city of Martoni.

Armenia had said that the Azerbaijani side fired artillery at the northeastern combat sites of Artsakh's army at around 8:45 am this morning.

The US Department of State announced that the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides had reached a ceasefire, the third since the clashes began on September 27 in Karabakh.
