Arab women: We will not remain silent about what is happening in Imrali

Arab women from al-Shahba district appealed to humanitarian organizations to reveal the health of leader Ocalan, saying they would not remain silent about what is happening.

On The 27th of last month, a fire broke out on the Island of Imrali, where leader Abdullah Ocalan is being held, since 21 years.

Arab women from al-Shahba district condemned the fire and said they would not remain silent.

Amani al-Abdullah, a citizen, said: "We demonstrate daily, and we condemn the actions of the Turkish state towards leader Abdullah Ocalan, and we want to check on his health after the fire broke out on the island of Imrali.

Amani said "As an Arab component, we will continue our activities as well until the leader is liberated and we will not remain silent,".

At the end of her speech, Amani called on human rights organizations to allow leader Ocalan's lawyer to visit him to check on his health.

Hefin Alou, a citizen said "The fire that broke out on Imrali Island is an act of action and to know the position of the people, and we are holding together with our Kurdish brothers".

"We will remain united and continue the demonstrations until leader Abdullah Ocalan is lifted from Imrali prisons."

Rafa Alosh, a citizen said "We will continue to protest for leader Abdullah Ocalan, and we will not stop until his capture is released.
