Anza clan: Paid figures in Urfa not represent clans in Syria

One of the dignitaries of the Anza clan, spread in north and east Syria, said, "Those who call themselves the sheikhs and notables of the Arab clans in the Turkey do not represent the Syrian people inside."

Hamid Al-Afadh, one of the elders of the Anza clan (the Al-Fadaan clan), one of the largest clans in Syria, came in an exclusive interview with our agency, in conjunction with a statement issued by personalities claiming to be “sheikhs and notables of Syrian tribes” in the city of Urfa / Raha in Turkey, about the repercussions of the assassination of a sheikh of the “clan” Al-Egeiidat "Mutashhar Hammoud Jadaan Al-Hafel.

Al-Afadh stressed during his speech on "the participation of the Anzah clan in defense politically and militarily, against foreign interference, including Turkey, preserving the integrity of the Syrian territories, in cooperation and coordination with the Syrian Democratic Forces, and working to deter external strife that targets the brotherhood of peoples."

In response to the media figures in the city of Urfa who claim to represent the Syrian Arab clans, Al-Afadh says, "These are not sheikhs and notables. They are working to implement Turkish agendas. They are the reason for turning the occupied areas in Ras al-Ain and Tal Abyad into hell, after they were safe areas, as well as throwing the Syrians into equations and quarrels with their Arab brothers in Libya, they are the reason for all this. "

The Anza clans are spread in the regions of “Al-Jazeera and the Euphrates”, in the regions of Al-Hasakah, Al-Raqqa, Al-Tabqa and Ain Issa, in addition to the Syrian Badia, and in the Gulf countries, “Saudi Arabia and Kuwait,” and the clans' youths actively participated in the battles to end ISIS geographically on the Syrian lands during the past 4 years.

Investigations and confessions of a member of the "assassination cell" set up by the Syrian Intelligence revealed plans to target sheikhs, clans leaders, well-known figures and heads of local councils in the Deir ez-Zor region, in conjunction with a media and psychological war practiced by Turkey against the Syrians in the northeast of the country.
