Angela Merkel calls for an immediate end to Turkish attacks on N, E Syria

German Chancellor Angela Merkel called on the head of the Turkish occupation state to stop attacks on northern and eastern Syria "immediately."

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has called on Turkish President Erdogan to immediately halt an attack by his occupying army on northern and eastern Syria since Wednesday under the pretext of establishing a "safe area," the government said.

Germany, which tanks are used to kill the people of northern and eastern Syria, has joined the group of European countries opposed to the Turkish occupation.

Turkey is launching attacks on areas of northern and eastern Syria, amid international condemnation of these attacks and demands for an immediate halt.
