During the conference, the co-chair of the Executive Council, Abdul Hamid Al-Mehbash, said that the region was liberated from the most dangerous terrorist organization and paid a high price for liberating this region. We provided 11,000 martyrs, more than 22,000 wounded, and the Global Coalition was our partner in this victory.
He noted that the announcement of defeating Daesh and the great victory that took place on the 23rd of March, does not mean the elimination of terrorism completely, and that the final victory needs more time and work more, and there is a need for more coordination with the Global Coalition.
He added, "After these victories, we call upon the international community and the French administration to support the Autonomous Administration and to have representatives in the drafting of the Syrian constitution, because it represents more than 5 million of all the components of the Syrian people. We demanded the provision of service support in all fields, especially reconstruction."
He added, "There are dozens of hidden terrorist cells, in addition to the presence of thousands of mercenaries and their families in the areas of Autonomous Administration, and the presence of so many sleeper cells the region, in conjunction with the threats of neighboring Turkey, that is, any attack on our areas will cause the escape of those who pose a threat to us and to the whole world. "
"We have called on the international community to support the formation of an international criminal court in the autonomous regions of northern and eastern Syria to try these mercenaries, according to international law and conventions, because they committed their crimes on Syrian territory."
He added, "Without that, they will not be able to eradicate terrorism, and terrorism will emerge again with other names.
He also said that the French President stressed the need to support the Autonomous Administration, to have representatives in the drafting committees of the constitution, and the need to resolve the Syrian crisis in accordance with UN resolution 2254.
Al-Mehbash said that the French president also stressed the need to support the Autonomous Administration financially to promote development processes, services and support security and stability efforts in the region.
Al-Mehbash said at the end of his speech that the president focused on the need for security in the areas on the border. "We in the Autonomous Administration support this security, because we would like to have a good neighborly relationship with Turkey.
