Al-Hasaka Health Directorate: One person infection to endanger everyone's life

The member of the Health Directorate in al-Hasakah canton Leylan Qassem indicated that sterilization and testing campaigns are continuing, noting that preventive measures prevent the virus from reaching the area, and said: "The infection of a person will endanger everyone's life."

 

The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria imposed a curfew on its areas as a preventive measure against the Corona virus, as it suspended the studying in schools and the work in the civil institutions, took precautionary measures at the border crossings, prevented gatherings and events in the regions, and formed the Crisis Cell in this regard, in addition to the ongoing sterilization campaigns as a precaution to prevent the emergence of the virus.

Regarding the precautionary measures and procedures in al-Hasakah canton, the member of the Health Directorate in al-Hasakah canton Leylan Qassem indicated to our agency that sterilization campaigns in the region have been ongoing since the first day of the curfew, and continued: "In addition to sterilization campaigns, we conduct tests for the patients, as well as fighters in the battalions, headquarters and military regiments."

In her speech, Leylan Qassem called on the people to abide by the decisions and preventive measures, and she said in this context: "The people must stay in their homes for the preservation of their health and the public health. The infection of one person with this virus will put the lives of all those around them at risk."

The member of the Health Directorate in al-Hasakah canton Leylan Qassem said that until now, no cases of Corona virus have been recorded in the region. She continued: "The precautionary measures and procedures play a major role in preventing the virus to reach the region."
