Al-Assad: Idlib, Aleppo battle continues regardless of sound bubbles coming from north

The president of the Syrian regime, Bashar al-Assad, said that controlling Aleppo does not mean winning the war, and stressed that the battle of Aleppo and Idlib liberation continues regardless the empty sound bubbles coming from the north, in an indication to Turkey.

The president of the Syrian regime spoke in a speech after his forces took control of Aleppo surrounding saying: "It is true that the liberation of the city in 2016 did not achieve the desired security for the city at the time, and it remained under the shells of treachery and cowardice. It is also true that the victory today in the battle does not mean the victory in the war, but this is in the abstract military logic that is based on the ends and results, while in the national logic, the victory begins with the beginning of steadfastness and if it was from the first day, and with this logic, Aleppo triumphed... and Syria triumphed."

Al-Assad added: "However, we are fully aware that this liberation does not mean the end of the war, nor does it mean the fall of plans, nor the removal of terrorism, nor does it mean the surrender of enemies, but it certainly means a prelude to complete defeat sooner or later."

Al-Assad sent indirect messages to Turkey saying: "This also means not to be deceived, but rather to prepare for the coming battles, and therefore the battle of Aleppo and Idlib countryside liberation continues regardless of some empty audio bubbles coming from the north, just as the battle to liberate all the Syrian soil, crush terrorism and achieve stability."

It is worth mentioning that during the past two days, the Syrian regime forces expanded their areas of control in the northern and western countryside of Aleppo rapidly due to the withdrawal of the mercenary gangs related to Turkey from them.
