​​​​​​​Al-Arabia: Hakan Vidan visited Libya, Ankara sent special forces to Tripoli

Turkish intelligence chief Hakan Vidan and Turkish intelligence officials visited Libya nearly a week ago to learn about developments there, sources said.

The sources told Al-Arabiya that Vidan is following the developments on the ground in Libya, and that Ankara sent groups of its special forces to Tripoli 10 days ago.

The sources noted that members of the Turkish Air Force were injured in Libya and taken to Turkey for treatment, including serious cases.

Turkey has resorted to intimidation and threats to force the Syrian mercenaries to fight alongside the forces of the Accord Government against the Libyan army, after increasing numbers of mercenaries who refuse to participate in the fighting in Libya.
